On the summit of Cap Diamant in Old Québec, this National Historic Site is situated. 300 years of history, from the New France era to the present, are contained inside its walls. The Citadel bears the star-shaped shape typical of Vauban fortifications and is referred to as “the Gibraltar of the Americas” because to its advantageous location.
