A significant battle in Canadian history saw British forces defeat French troops on the Plains of Abraham.

The Plains of Abraham were designated a National Historic Park of Canada due to the site’s noteworthy heritage. One of the most prestigious urban parks in the entire globe is Battlefields Park.

Through an interactive museum experience or a guided tour, history enthusiasts will want to visit the Plains of Abraham Museum to discover more about the wars that took place here in 1759 and 1760.

In the middle of the city sits the outdoor recreation area known as Battlefields Park. On the groomed routes in the winter, you can do cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or ice skating. The park transforms into a well-liked picnic place in the summer, where you can go running, take in an outdoor performance at the Edwin Bélanger Bandstand, or simply unwind in the Joan of Arc Garden while reading a book.
