Huron Traditional Site Onhoüa Chetek8e

You will be led by a person dressed historically as you become fully immersed in Huron-Wendat culture. You can get information about an antiquated way of life while seeing a rebuilt village. A huge teepee, a longhouse, and smoking and drying structures are all worth seeing. Pay attention while a storyteller tells intriguing myths and legends. You will be shown how snowshoes and canoes, two ancient modes of mobility, are created by skilled artisans. You can also take part in other workshops, which are well-liked by kids. Try some of the local restaurant’s authentic Wendat food for a full sensory experience.

Schedule: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day
