The past more than 350 years… The Jesuit Mill, which is a part of the Charlesbourg Heritage Site, has an explanation centre that covers both the mill and the Trait-Carré neighbourhood. The first water mill was built in 1742, but as agricultural and industrial methods changed through time, the structure underwent various modifications.
