The Montmorency Falls, which are 83 m (272.3′) high and 30 m (98.4′) taller than Niagara Falls, are a breathtaking sight both in the summer and in the winter.

They are situated in the same-named park, which is about 15 minutes away from Old Québec. The St. Lawrence River extends here, not far from the base of the cliffs, making it a place you won’t want to miss.

You can decide between amazement and adventure while you’re here. Take a cable car up the cliff to get a special vantage point to see the falls. The view is breathtaking all year round! To reach the belvedere, cross the suspension bridge. There, you may experience the river’s force as it thunders past.

Follow one of the three via ferrata paths up the cliff, or if you’re feeling very daring, fly over the plunge pool on the twin zipline that extends 300 metres (984 feet) in the air.

At the interpretation centre, you may find out more about the site’s rich past. In the summer, you can enjoy a picnic in the historic orchard and put your stamina to the test by ascending the 487 steps to the viewing platform. Visitors with refined palates will enjoy the Montmorency Manor’s brunch, one of the best in the area.
