1 Day

Overview

Join a coach tour to the Montmorency Falls and the Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré to combine two well-liked day outings from Quebec City into a single hassle-free adventure. The return excursion involves stops at additional well-known destinations including the Cuivres D’Art Albert Gilles (copper art museum) and Chocolaterie de l’Ile d’Orléans to maximise your time in transit.

Highlights

  • Popular sights in the Quebec City region can be seen in one day excursion.
  • Visit Montmorency Falls, Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Basilica, and other places.
  • The use of onboard commentary maximises travel time.
  • Transportation from central Quebec City was provided roundtrip.

Expectations

Get to the primary meeting place in Quebec City to start your trip. Start the 15-minute drive via the Beaupre Coast to reach Montmorency Falls, an 83-meter-tall (270-foot) waterfall on the Montmorency River—a cascade that is almost 30 metres (100 feet) taller than Niagara Falls. Observe the falls from a boardwalk that runs alongside them or a suspension bridge that allows for close-up views.

The Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, a mediaeval church where some people think miracles happened, is reached after another 30-minute drive. The artisanal Chocolaterie de l’Ile d’Orléans, the copper museum, and the store at Cuivres D’Art Albert Gilles are further destinations.

Drop-off at the place of origin concludes the tour.
