Overview
The Historic District of Old Quebec, which has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985, will be highlighted throughout this tour. Starting with the original inhabitants, we’ll explore the city’s history through the first French settlers’ arrival, the establishment of the Royal colony of New France, the rise of Quebec City as the capital of British North America, the establishment of the Dominion of Canada, and finally the modern era. A history of about 500 years! I am capable of leading rigorous, in-depth tours as well as casual, entertaining ones filled with interesting trivia and tales.
