Enumerate “Information Advertising” “Persuasive Advertising” and “Reminder Advertising” from the viewpoint of advertising goals.

Advertisement objectives can be classified according to whether they aim to inform, persuade, remind, or reinforce.

The goal of informative advertising is to increase consumer awareness of new products and their characteristics as well as brand recognition.

The goal of persuasive advertising is to influence consumers to link with, favor, believe in, and buy a good or service. Some Persuasive Advertising uses comparative advertising, which explicitly compares the attributes of two or more brands. For years, VISA has run a successful ad campaign called “It’s Everywhere You Want to Be”, that showcases desirable locations and events that do not accept the American Express Card.

Remainder Advertising aims to stimulate repeat purchases of products and services.

Reinforcement advertising seeks to persuade current customers that their decision was wise. Automobile advertisements frequently feature happy customers enjoying the unique features of their brand-new vehicles.
